Bach influenced everything you ever thought about music

Even though he died long, long, long ago, nothing in music would be anything like it is without Johann Sebastian Bach.  Like the return to the melody in your favorite pop song?  Thank Bach.  Think that awesome quotation of an old Beatles melody in a Britney Spears song is cool?  Bach did the same thing.  Here are some of Bach’s best works for a Bach beginner:

Twilight Ruins “Clair de Lune”

Since the translation of “Clair de Lune” is “moonlight,” I guess it’s only natural that they included it in the Twilight series. I guess. But given the fact that I have so much disdain for the series—which was originally just mild annoyance, but somehow grew into enormous contempt—and I used to be in love with the Claude Debussy short but oh so sweet movement, it’s somehow super offensive.
